Complete customisation of a Miata 1.6.

This is a 1992 MX5 Miata 1.6 that went through several stages to become what it is today.

We started from an old installation of a Greddy turbo kit blowing at 5 psi and managed by the car's standard control unit together with a MSD and a fuel pressure regulator; which together gave 130 hp.

In a first phase to get more performance out of the installed kit, a Megasquirt MS2 control unit, intercooler, lambda sensor, 450cc Denso injectors, HKS wastegate, K&N filter with VRS heat shield, electronic turbo pressure controller and other functional elements were installed to increase the power to 200 hp.

However, not content with that, in a second phase, the entire car was redone. The entire interior was restored with full upholstery (dashboard, centre console, dome, door panels), installation of alcantara upholstered semi-backets and matching steering wheel. Installation of VRS Customs double-arch roll bars. The exterior was restyled with the installation of Autokonexion bumpers, XXR 527 et0 wheels and complete VRS Customs kit consisting of front splitter, side skirts, diffuser and carbon fibre spoiler. Finally the entire engine bay was reworked with a 1.8 swap with forged engine and Garrett GT2871-R turbo to bring the whole package up to 300 hp.
